Good luck to Aaron S., Grade 7, winner of our school spelling bee. He will participate in the Derry Salem Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 13th. We would also like to congratulate Aaron on qualifying to represent our school at the state level of the National Geographic Bee on Friday, April 9th at Keene State College.

Final fundraising commitment statements are being sent home today. Twenty-five families raised more than their commitment and will be receiving credits that will be applied to their June tuition. If you have a balance due, it must be paid by May 1. Please call Lynn Kish if you have any questions regarding your account.
Congratulations to John M., Grade 2! John and his teammates won the 32nd Annual Winter Classic Hockey Tournament in West Warwick, RI on February 21st. John plays hockey for the Manchester Flames Mite Team.
Tuition Assistance - Effective 3/01/10, tuition assistance applications for the 2010-2011 school year will be online through the FACTS Mgt. website. If you have paid your registration fee for 2010-2011 you may go online to complete the application. In order to be considered for 2010-2011 tuition assistance, all required information must be received by FACTS no later than May 1, 2010. The website to complete your application is www.factstuitionaid.com. The deadline is still May 1, 2010. If you have any questions, please contact Lynn Kish.
Hot Lunch Program— PLEASE REMEMBER THAT LUNCH REQUEST SLIPS ARE DUE ON THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE WEEK OF THE LUNCH REQUEST. Therefore, requests for the week of March 22nd are due no later than Wednesday, March 17th by 12 noon. Slips received after the deadline will be returned to the student.
☺ Please send in the full sheet if at all possible. (Half sheet only if necessary.) Do not cut the sheet into single days. ☺ Please send a check for the correct amount. Cash may be sent only if it is the exact amount. Remember cash is harder to trace if the order is misplaced or forgotten by the student.
5th Grade Mini-Fundraiser: The 5th grade class will be sponsoring a bake sale on March 11th & 12th at all lunch periods.
Additionally, they will be having a raffle for the following items:Dress down day for the winner and their class.
Homework pass for the winner and their class.
Lunch from McDonalds for the winner and 3 friends!
Tickets will be on sale the week of March 8th - 12th during lunch. Cost for tickets is $.50 for one or $1 for three. Please consider supporting this event to help the 5th grade purchase their item for the STA School Spring Auction.

Father-Daughter Dance – Invitations are being sent home today for this highly anticipated annual event on Friday, April 16th. Tickets are available for purchase at $10.00 per person. How to make a report of sexual abuse:
Child sexual abuse is a crime in the State of New Hampshire and the Church. New Hampshire law requires that anyone who has reason to suspect that a child is being or has been abused or neglected must make a report to the Division for Children, Youth & Families (“DCYF”) of the State of New Hampshire, 1-800-894-5533. Any person who suspects or alleges child abuse on the part of a priest, deacon, employee, or volunteer of a parish, school, or institution of the diocese of Manchester is also encouraged to make a report to the Office for Ministerial Conduct, 603-669-3100.
