St. Thomas Aquinas School Presents…
Pinkerton Academy’s Stockbridge Theater TONIGHT at 7:30 PM.  Tickets are available at the door at $7.00 per adult, $5.00 per student and children under 6 are free.  Please join us for what promises to be another wonderful production starring students of Grades 5 through 8 under the direction of Mr. David Gocklin and Ms. Barbara Ashley.

I would like to wish all of the “MOMS” in our STA School Community a very happy Mother’s Day.  Thank you for all you do for our school and for your families.  Count on my prayers as we celebrate your love and dedication on Sunday.

Hot Lunch Program – See attached lunch request sheet for May 19 – 30.  PLEASE REMEMBER THAT LUNCH REQUEST SLIPS ARE DUE ON THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE WEEK OF THE LUNCH REQUEST.  Therefore, requests for the week of May 19^th are due no later than Wednesday, May 14^th by 12 noon.  Slips received after the deadline will be returned to the student.

 S.T.A. Gift Certificate Program – All orders must be submitted by 12 noon on Monday, May 12^th.   See attached order sheet.  Orders must be received by Monday noon and will be processed and sent home with your child the same day.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Laurie O’Brien at 432-2712 or e-mail her at KLMMOBRIEN@aol.com.  Thank you in advance for your participation!

Uniform Orders for 2008 – 2009 – Harvey Uniform will be at our school on Wednesday, May 14^th from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. The uniform order sheet, information sheet from Harvey, and a  copy of our Dress Code are being sent home today.  If you do not receive the appropriate order sheet, please contact the school office.

 Birthday Book Club – The Birthday Book Club has been very busy this year.  22 students have been honored with books.  We have also received a donation from St. Jude Parish in Londonderry.  In total we have added more than 40 books to our library.  It’s not too late!  Use the attached order form to place your order.  The library is always in need of new books.  All participating students will be invited to an Ice Cream Sundae Celebration.  For more information: http://www.staderry.com/birthdaybookclub.htm. 

 CasTravel.Net – One of our parents, Mrs. Cheryl Silveira, is the owner of CasTravel.Net and generously donated the trips to Cancun and Orlando to our Spring Auction.  Brochures are included with this Thursday Notice regarding information on booking your next trip. 
CasTravel.Net will donate 50% of the commission on all trips booked and paid for by the end of August to St. Thomas Aquinas School.  Visit the website at CasTravel.Net or contact Cheryl Silveira at 537-0796 after 4 PM Monday through Friday. 

Trinity High School Spring Open House – This event for 6^th & 7^th graders will be held on Thursday, May 15^th from 7 to 9 PM.  Late applicants to the 9^th grade and transfer students are also welcome.  Students and parents will be able to view the facilities, meet the faculty and also register for the 7^th grade practice exam to be held on Saturday, May 17^th from 8:30 to 11:30 AM.  Late applicants may also take their exam at this time.  Doors open at 8:15 AM.  Pre-registration is required.  You may do so by downloading the Admissions Exam form at www.trinity-hs.org and mailing it to Trinity High School, Admissions Office, 581 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH  03104, or by calling the Admissions Office at 668-1779 to register or with any questions.
