April News
This month in science, we will be learning about reptiles. Our science center is filled with plastic snakes, lizards, and turtles. In grammar we will be doing lots of journal writing. We will be writing about specific topics using complete sentences. In math, we are beginning a chapter on money. We will be learning to recognize various coins and bills. We will add various coins together to determine if we have enough money to purchase items in a "mock" store. We will also be purchasing books using a collection of coins and a cash register.
The children will be assigned sentence writing as part of their regular homework routine. Please watch for this change in their daily agendas.
