Extended Care

This program allows children to experience a diversity of activities including indoor and outdoor scheduled play, study time, and snack. Our staff works together to provide individual attention and security in an atmosphere of respect and understanding for others.

Clothing
For the comfort of your child, a set of play clothes should be provided but is not necessary. Since we will be going out everyday, appropriate outdoor clothing is especially important. Hats, mittens, boots, etc. should be sent as soon as the days turn cool. All clothes should be sent to school in a bag. Please label all clothing with your child's name.

Emergency Numbers
Before any child is allowed to participate in the daycare program, a Registration Form must be completed. This form lists all pertinent information in the event we need to contact you, medical information, and a list of people you have chosen as alternate pick-ups. NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE WITH ANYONE UNLESS THEY ARE INCLUDED ON YOUR LIST OF ALTERNATES!

Snack
A light snack and drink are provided daily. Please let us know if your child has an allergy to certain foods or drinks. Children may bring their own snacks to eat during snack time. This is especially helpful if your child prefers a larger snack than we provide.

Payment
Payments should be sent to school in an envelope marked "DAYCARE." Please include your child's name and the dates and times daycare will be used. Credits will be applied to future weeks. Payments can be made in cash or check made payable to STA. If paid by check, do not include any other items such as hot lunch, tuition, etc. A $20 fee will be charged for any check returned by the bank. If you are a weekly user, payment is due on the Monday of the week daycare is provided. If you are a daily user, payment is due on the day of service. A note indicating dates to be used along with payment should be sent to the school with your child. You child will not be allowed to participate if your payments are not kept up to date. If you call during the afternoon for your child to stay for the program, you will be expected to pay when you pick up your child.

Times and Days
The program is available Monday through Friday except during vacations, holidays, snow days, and half days. For more information, please call the office.

COST

AM Session — $3/day

PM Session — $3/hour
(There will be no breakdown for ½ or ¼ hour.)

There is a $50 maximum family charge per week.

Late pick-up fee
A fee of $5 for the first 5 minutes after 5:30 PM and $5 for each additional minute will be charged for late pick-ups. More than three late pick-ups in one school year may result in your child's exclusion from the daycare program.
