Spring Auction!

Our 13^th Annual Spring Auction is April 12^th (only 2 weeks away)!

See attached flyers regarding volunteers for the auction, food donations, tickets and the AUCTION RAFFLE!

Tickets are now on sale for the Spring Auction being held on Saturday, April 12^th at the Aquinas Center.  Doors will open at 6 PM for viewing of auction items.  The silent auction will begin at 6:30 PM and the live auction will begin at 8:15 PM.  For your convenience, Master Card and Visa will be accepted along with cash and checks for payments on winning bids.  Tickets may be purchased in the school office.  Tickets are $15.00 per person.  We will be serving hors d’ouvres, dinner buffet and desserts.  Refreshments, including beer and wine, will be available.  Auction guests may also bring their own beer or wine.  No one under 21 admitted.  Parties of 10 can reserve a table.  The number of reserved tables is limited so we suggest purchasing your tickets as soon as possible.  Ticket form is attached.

Advance Ticket Sales Bonus - Purchase your ticket by Friday, April 11^th

and receive a coupon good for $5.00 off the purchase of

a live or silent item.

It is recommended that you pre-register when you purchase your tickets to avoid long lines at the door on auction night.  Purchase your tickets early and take advantage of $5.00 savings.   To purchase your tickets through “kids mail” you may send payment and registration information to school with your child and we will send the tickets home to you that day.  Information needed for registration is the name, address and telephone number for each individual requesting an auction number.  Couples who will be sharing a plate number only need one registration card.  Be sure to tell us the number of tickets you need and the number of auction plate numbers you are requesting. 

DONATIONS STILL NEEDED! – We are still accepting donations of cash, items and gift certificates for both the silent and live auctions.  If you have not yet donated, it is not too late.  Please consider making a donation either through your business or as an individual.  Please see attached donation form.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

Auction Sponsors Needed - In addition to the items needed for the auction we are looking for business sponsors to cover the costs of the auction including food, decorations, and prizes.  We are offering businesses three levels of sponsorship. 

• $600.00 Lead Sponsor –Special acknowledgement of your sponsorship will be made at the auction as well as a full-page advertisement for your business on the back cover of the auction booklet. 

• $350.00 Game Sponsor (have 1, need 3 more) – In addition to the silent and live auctions, auction night activities include games that “everyone plays.”  Special grand prizes are given to game winners.  Game sponsors are remembered for their association with the most fun part of the evening and receive a half-page advertisement on the inside cover of the auction booklet.

• $250.00 Special Sponsor (have 1, need 3 more) – Half-page advertisement inside the auction booklet.

All donors and sponsors will receive acknowledgement of their donation in the auction preview brochure distributed to school and church families.  In addition, donations will be listed and links to businesses can be set up from the STA School website.  A business sponsorship would be a great way to advertise a business to our school and parish community.  It would also be a great way to support the school.  If you think your company or employer would consider the sponsorship please contact Lynn Kish.

Auction Committee Meeting – Tuesday, March 25^th at 6:30 in the library.  All members of the committee are asked to attend.  In addition, any parents who are interested in helping on the day of the auction are asked to attend or contact Lynn Kish.

          HELP NEEDED!        

We need volunteers to help set up on auction day and people to work the auction. 

If you are available to help, please fill out this form and return to the school by Thursday, April 3, 2008.

   Donations for Auction Refreshments  

At this year’s auction a buffet dinner will be served that will include tossed salad, baked ziti, sausage and peppers, meatballs, and rolls.  In order to make planning and purchasing easier, the food committee will handle this.  Since we would like to keep additional food costs as low as possible, we are asking parents to donate refreshments, hors d’oeuvres or desserts.  A list of items needed is printed on the form.  If you can help by making a donation, please fill out the form and return it to school by Thursday, April 3rd.

One lucky person out of 250 will win $1,000 or MORE* in our AUCTION RAFFLE. 

We are selling up to, but not more than, 250 tickets at $20 per ticket. Compare your odds (1 in 250) with those of our state lottery or even your favorite scratch ticket and you'll quickly realize these odds are hard to beat!  During the auction, we will draw the winning ticket. If the person whose name is on the winning ticket is present, the winner will receive $1,500!*
